In December, Josh served as an Invited Critic for Final Reviews at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Invited for his experience in affordable housing design and in design in general, Josh served as one of the critics for Sarah Aziz, Stathis Yaros, and Nora Wendl’s Graduate Housing Studio, which focused on transforming San Francisco’s Treasure Island into a new community. The studio focused on designing at a multitude of scales, including urban planning, building-level design, and more, to create new, cohesive communities on the former military base in San Francisco Bay. Great work by the students on a difficult site!
